We've done so much at Trifles that it has been hard to post all of the photos and events! Among the most memorable is the trip I took to Soho in May of '07 to attend workshops at the French Culinary Institute. While there, I enjoyed learning techniques from pastry chefs: Will Goldfarb, Kir Rodriguez and Alex Stupak.
In October of '07 we officially launched our coffee shop, complete with a superb menu of pastries and hard to find gourmet items. Our original Trifles chocolate & cake design boutique is thriving beautifully, along with the Trifles' coffee shop. You will be delighted to experience old-world favorites, such as biscotti, scones, muffins and pies like great-grandmother used to make! Watch for our savory menu, coming just in time to take away the winter chill.

We were proud to provide the cake display for this stylish event.
Trifles served delish cupcakes bursting with caramel and chocolate buttercream filling to the finest wedding vendors in metropolitan Detroit. The cupcakes were topped with sweetly glazed edible flowers, pansies, snapdragons and roses as well as decadent dark chocolate pieces from Belgium. We received many compliments on the great tasting cupcakes ;-) See testimonial below:

Please do not take it personally. Sans big industry bucks or fat-cat mega-staffing, this may seem like customer service gone awry, but the truth is that Trifles is an old-fashioned confectionery cohabitating with virtual reality. This can be difficult at times, but know that we try our best every day to keep up with speedy communication.
